She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Bryan; her parents, Rev. Paul Smallen and Cleo Smallen; her brother Kenneth Smallen; and her brothers-in-law, Larry and David Bryan.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Bryan (Susan) of Etowah, John Bryan of Etowah and Karen Morgan (Tony) of Athens; her sisters, Novella Hawkins (Don) of Athens and Vicki Smallen Hernandez of Athens; her sisters-in-law, Jayne Dunkle (Stanley) of Etowah, Lorene Bryan of Etowah and Brenda Bryan of Sweetwater; and her grandchildren, Tyson, Dusty Bryan of Knoxville, Charity Gainey (James) of Athens, Candi Morgan of Athens, Travis "Bubba" Morgan (Whitney) of Athens, Tyler and Jordan Bryan of Etowah. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
