She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Puett and Ruth Powell Puett; her son Jackie Stephen Puett; and her siblings, Jackie L. Puett, Jean Yarbrough and Judy Ables.

She is survived by: her daughter Medah Jade Puett Ghorley; her sister Janice R.; her brother-in-law James Cox of Madisonville, Tenn.; and her former husband Don Ghorley of Athens.
