With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lela Tallent of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on November 19, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guffey Tallent and Elise Tallent; and her siblings, Janice Tallent and Harold Tallent. She is survived by: her children, DeWayne Tallent and Regina Tallent; her grandchildren, Mathayus Tallent and Noah Tallent; and her siblings, Virginia Dodson, Mae Shattles, Rachel Jones, Dana Shelton, Evalyn Moses, Ivelene Robinson, Helen Winder, Thomas Tallent, Carey Tallent and Larry Tallent. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
