We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Lawrence Carpenter of Athens, Tennessee. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Lawrence Carpenter to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Carpenter and Helen Robinson Carpenter; his son Lawrence "Trey" Carpenter; and his stepdaughter Audra Inman. He is survived by : his wife Susan Frye Carpenter; his children, Kelley C. Michie of Charlotte, NC and Alan Carpenter of Greensboro, NC; his stepson Craig (Carolyn Inman) of Mt. Juliet, TN; and his grandchildren, Jack, Mary Catherine Michie and Madison Inman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Athens-McMinn YMCA, P.O. Box 376, Athens, TN 37371-0376.
