He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas, Cecile Chandler, Glenn and Hazel Webb; and his father-in-law Murl Hampton.

He is survived by: his wife Holly Hampton Chandler of Athens; his son Jack Hampton Chandler; his parents, Larry, Sr. Chandler and Margaret Webb Chandler; his mother-in-law Joyce Newman Hampton; his siblings-in-law, Shannon (Larry Hicks) of Athens and Matt (Stacy Hampton); and his nieces, Madison of Dayton, Mallory of Dayton and Sydney Hampton of Dayton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family suggests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Athens, 305 Ingleside Avenue, Athens, TN 37303.
