She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Casteel; her parents, James Blankenship and Edith Blankenship; and her brothers, Jimmy Blankenship and Freddie Blankenship.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eddie Blankenship (Denise), Carroll Blankenship, Richard Blankenship (Jane) and Patricia Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Cayci Nabors (Bradley), Brittany Cagle (Eric), Rhonda Johnson, Amanda Barrineau (Paul), Tabatha Boyd (Chase), Angela Whaley, Jace Richeson, Maverick Nabors, Bryce Cagle and Colt Nabors. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Valley Road Baptist Church (871 Co Rd 187, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Road Baptist Church Cemetery (871 Co Rd 187, Athens, TN 37303).
