He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Thomas and Jewell Dean Fowler Thomas; and his sister Judith Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Ann Carolyn Warf Thomas of Athens; his sons, John Walter Thomas-Valdez (Joseph Valdez) of Las Vegas, Nev and James Dean Thomas; his brother Jerry; and his sister-in-law Sandy Thomas of Cape Coral, Fla.. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren, One great grandson, several nieces and nephews.
