With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Simpson (Athens, Tennessee), who passed away on August 20, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his siblings, Georgianne Morris, Richard Simpson of Athens and Mary Helen Elrod of Texas; and his sons, Jud Simpson (Janet) of Peters Creek, Jeb Simpson (Lori) and Joel Simpson (Shawna). He is also survived by her children and by his three boys and their spouses and grandchildren.
