It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry E Caldwell of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James E. Caldwell and Edith Caldwell (Butler); his siblings, Curtis Caldwell, Melvin Caldwell, Ronnie Caldwell and Janice Sue Caldwell; and his daughter Vanessa Caldwell.

He is survived by : his wife Meredith Caldwell; his children, Leo Mason, Jerold Caldwell Jr. and Josette Caldwell Robbins; his stepdaughters, Jacquline Stephens, Melissa Flewelling and Joelle Whitener; and his siblings, Francis Parker, Judy Hare and Charles Caldwell. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
