It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Sue Taylor of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on May 24, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Burton and Geraldine Rowland Burton; her sister Judy Payne; her brothers-in-law, Grady Smith I and Bro Roy Hogan; and her nephew Grady Smith II.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Cook of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Sophie Cook of Asheville, NC and Jake Cook of Knoxville; her sisters, Jamia Hogan of Athens and JoAnne Smith of Reliance; her nephews, Cary Hogan (Missy) of Mt. Juliet, Andrew Hogan (Laurie) of High Point, NC and Charlie Smith of Reliance; and her niece Paula Grant (Mike) of Tellico Plains.
