She was predeceased by: her parent Oris M.. She is survived by: her parent LaVerne H. Clinedinst; her former husband Delmer Fennell; her spouse Thomas Armstrong; her daughter Shannon Plattner; her son-in-law Karl Plattner; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Colby and Halle.
In lieu of flowers, the Armstrong family asks that donations be made to the Maggie Valley United Methodist Church, the Russell Library of Georgia College and State University, or the Shriners' Hospital for Children.
