Jack Grubb Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2025, at the age of 94, Jack Grubb of Athens, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Hubert Grubb and Lillie Mae Rogers Grubb; and his brothers, James Grubb, Frank Grubb, Clyde Grubb, Johnny Grubb, Dennis Fred "Dip" Grubb and Kenneth Grubb.
He is survived by: his wife Oneida Perry Grubb of Athens, Tenn.; his children, Jacky Grubb (Rebecca) of Athens and Melinda Miller (Ronnie) of Madisonville, Tenn.; and his brother Wayne Grubb.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Clearwater Cemetery (964 Co Rd 180, Athens, TN 37303).
