It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert L Partain of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lee Partain and Annie Mowery Partain; his wife Marie Assums Partain; his daughter Judy Lee Beanke; his brothers, Lee and Rudy Partain; and his stepmother Mildred Partain.

He is survived by : his grandson Michael Partain (Leslie) of Lake Havasu, AZ; his great grandchildren, Jasmine and Tristen Partain; his siblings, Patti P. Hall of Athens, Floyd and Larry Partain (Jane) of Athens; and his sister-in-law Raynette Partain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I'm so sorry for the passing of Harry, as I knew him. I had the privilege of being Harry's Massage Therapist in MA for a number of years. He was such a remarkable guy! He served this country in WW2! He was part of the Greatest Generation! I so enjoyed our conversations. My former boss , when he called for an appointment used to call him my boyfriend in gest. I loved him like a father and friend! I already miss him and always remember him for the Wonderful man he was!”
