He was predeceased by: his parents, Frelon Williams and Mattie Gentry Williams; his wife Joyce Marie Cline Williams; and his brothers, Francis Williams and F. C. Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Crawford (Bill), Shannon Swafford (Marc) and Zeke Williams (Lisa); his brother Bob Williams (Jackie); his sister-in-law Virginia Burton; and his grandchildren, Jessica Pretzer, Alysia Carter, Cody Williams, Jerry Lynn Keeling, Jr., Justin Crawford and Trent Swafford. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Home (521 W Madison Ave, Athens, TN 37303-3490). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the South Liberty Church of Christ (134 Co Rd 679, Athens, TN 37303). A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the South Liberty Cemetery.
