He is survived by: his wife Ozelle Shoemaker Powers of Athens; his children, Kathy (David Nichol) of Daphne and Kris (Kim Powers) of Athens; his grandchildren, Adam (Bethany Hunt) of Athens, Blake (Cayci Coleman) of Athens, Corbin (Rachael) of Athens and Dannah Powers of Athens; and his sister Carolyn Anderson (Dick) of Fayette.
