We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2022, Gwendolyn Elliott of Athens, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jack R. Elliott; and her parents, Jacob Johnson and Helen Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Mitzi Elliott and Jackie Elliott Fister; her son-in-law Zach Fister; her grandsons, Patrick, Oliver, Adam, Max and Jack; and her sister Tammy Poteet. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions may be made to North Etowah Baptist Church, 231 PA Ave., Etowah, TN 37331 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
