She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arch Murr and Ruth Murr; her parents-in-law, Janie and Ambers West; her sisters, Ritha Mae (Vannie Wallace) and Ellie Bryant (West); her grandson Christopher Michael West; her great grandchild Tanner Lee Umphrey; her children, Michael E. West of Chattanooga and Leona Ruth (Charles Ray Layman) of Athens; her grandchildren, Tommy Crowe (Shawna), Angie Thompson, Jonathan Ray Layman of San Antonia, Jennifer Bautsch (Travis) and Janell Frost (Jason); her sister Bea "Deedie" West; her brother-in-law Eldridge Bryant of Morristown; and also Glenda "Matt" Murr West. She was also cherished by 17 Great-Grandchildren and their spouses and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Due to Covid, a private graveside service was held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the McClellan Cemetery in Madisonville with children and grandchildren attending.
Donations may be made at an Peoples Bank location stating it is for the benefit of Cub Scout Pack 100 in memory of Graydon West.
