With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenda Sharp of Athens, Tennessee, born in Rome, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ray and Beatrice Wilkins Ray; her husband Walter Leroy Sharp; her daughter Karen Sharp Anderson; and her sister Katherine Mull.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorraine Brown (Michael) of Rome, GA and Deanna Maulden of Athens, TN; her grandchildren, Scott Daniel, Faith White, Renae Massey, Charity Maulden, Jeffrey Cordle and Rachel Anderson; and her sister Roberta Dixon (Russell) of Rome, GA. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
