She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Carter and Fannie Miller Carter; her husband Melbourne Ramsey; and her brothers, J. D., James, Glen and Gene Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Freddie Cagle of Athens; her grandson Travis Cagle; and her close friend Rex Crabtree. She is also survived by niece and many nephews.
