With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geeldah Vicars (Athens, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Willard and Dorothy Moses Webb; her husband William Thomas Vicars; and her stepmother Alma Carroll Webb. She is survived by: her children, Kristi VIcars Phillips of Cleveland, William Thomas Vicars II (Vicky) of Cleveland and Jayson Alton VIcars (Traci) of Athens; her grandchildren, Sarah Vicars Dalton (Luke), Hannah Mariah Phillips, Madeline Rose Vicars, Sophia Hope Phillips and Samuel Jay VIcars; her great grandchild Jack Henry Dalton; her brother Mitchell T. Webb (Brenda) of Athens; her siblings-in-law, Linda Vicars Gribble of Nashville, Alton Franklin Vicars (Mary Sue) of Kentucky and Douglas Vicars (Barbara) of Kentucky; and her stepsisters, Donzella Shell and Beverly Lattimore (Kenneth). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
