She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Payne Clayton and Charles Hershel Clayton; her sister Laura Fay Clayton Miller; and her grandparents, Nelle, George Payne and Stella.
She is survived by: her brother Bill; her sister-in-law Shurra Clayton of Decatur, TN; her nephew William Corey Clayton of Decatur; her aunts, Betty Casper and Jean Lower; and her uncle Lee Payne.
In lieu of flowers, either do something kind for another person or make donations to Tennessee Baptist Children's Home at 6623 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421 in memory of Gaynelle Clayton.
