He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Martin and Reba Martin; and his sister Cathy Martin. He is survived by: his wife Connie Martin of Athens; his children, Joseph "Boon" Martin (Felicia) of Cleveland, TN, Sherman Martin (Luci) of Cleveland, TN and Nicole Brown (Josh) of Athens, TN; his grandchildren, Ayden, Corbin, Trenton Martin, Dean Bradley, William, Dante Brown, Michael Brown, Maelee and Aveline Martin; and his siblings, Arlene Freeman (Wayne) of Tellico, TN, Benny Martin (Carolyn) of Tellico, TN and Terry Wallace (Jewl) of Signal Mountain, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clear Springs Baptist Church (653 Co Rd 100, Athens, TN 37303).
