It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry Desmond Womac of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Womac and Mary Matthews Womac; and his siblings, Joyce (Boring), Selden Womac and Jack Womac.

He is survived by: his friend Harold "Prof" Powers; his wife Barbara "Jeanne" Womac; his children, Gary Womac II, Tracey Womac and Brandi Chapman (Mike); his granddaughters, Samantha, Jessica and Sara Chapman; and his nephews, Desi (Michelle) and Marty Boring. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to McMinn Regional Humane Society, 3 Davidson Road, Athens, TN 37303.
