With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freeland Achilles of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William James Achilles; his father-in-law Samuel L. Derrick; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Grubb and Lynn Grubb; and his niece Amanda Pressley.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Lea Achilles of Athens; his children, Beth Achilles of Athens, Abigail Achilles of Athens, Alli Achilles of Athens and Christopher Freeland Achilles of Athens; his mother Ina Pressley Achilles of Athens; his brother Danny Pressley (Cathy) of Miami, FL; his mother-in-law Janeice Derrick of Athens; and his brother-in-law Troy Derrick (Amy) of Athens. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
