She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jay and Isabell Doss Trusley; and her husband William Jerome Wilcox. She is survived by: her children, Mary Melissa Wilcox (Missy) of Niota, William "Bill" (Christine Wilcox) and Charles Edward Wilcox of Niota; her grandchildren, Jasmin Carter (Jimmy), Jessica Ann Douglass (Robert) and Samantha Duncan (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Jonathan Wilcox, Lillian Carter, James Duncan and Alexandra Duncan; and her close friends, Lisa Womac and Jaina Medlin. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Home (521 W Madison Ave, Athens, TN 37303-3490). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Niota Cemetery.
