She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Culpepper and Mary Elizabeth Threlkeld Culpepper; her husband Burl Joslin; and her siblings, Jimmy Culpepper, Tommy Junior Culpepper, Amos Culpepper, Billie Sue Smith, Kathryn Morgan, Helen Henson and Alice Hall.

She is survived by: her aunt Lou; her nephew Douglas Hall; and her nieces, Roxanne Smith of Calhoun, GA, Sonia Hall of Calhoun, GA, Ramona Gowens of Calhoun, GA and Allison Gowens of Calhoun, GA. She is also survived by her brothers' children, sisters' children, and friends.
