He is survived by: his son Charles "Eddie"; his daughter-in-law Jane Boyd of Athens One; his sister Kathryn Wilson of Athens; his grandchildren, Misty Boyd Elkins, Pastor C. Brett and Julie Boyd; his great grandchildren, Jacob Elkins Olivia Elkins, Hunter Boyd, Kinslee Greene and Emilee Martin; and his great great grandchild Easton Elkins.
