He was predeceased by: his parents, Datis Ealy and Martha Ealy; and his brother Ronald Ealy. He is survived by: his wife Sally DeWitt Ealy; his children, D. Carlton Ealy Jr. and Ellen Ealy Petree (Lewis Petree) of Winder, GA.; and his grandchildren, Holden Ealy Petree (Meagan Morales Petree) of Dawsonville, GA and Dr. Margaret Elizabeth Petree (Chandler Thomas Dickerson) of Winder, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Keith Memorial United Methodist Church (622 W Madison Ave, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
