She was predeceased by: her parents, John Amen and Katherine Amen; her son John; her brother Harry Amen; and her husband James Belk.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Mitro and Bill Amen; her children, Leona Ruth Cole (Paul), Katherine Cora Andre, James Eugene Belk (Laura) and Randolph Lee Belk (Randy); and her grandchildren, Patricia Cole, Steven Cole, Joshua Belk, Jessica Knodler, Denise Balding and Melanie Long. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A procession will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37371). Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727-1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
