He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard McCary and Mamie Lou Elliott Masingale; and his granddaughter Ella Marie Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Judy Carroll Masingale; his children, Patti (Greg West), Anne (Lee Montgomery) and Mike (Joy Masingale) of Athens; his grandchildren, Sara Montgomery, Maggie Montgomery, Austin Masingale (Bethany), Drew Masingale (Kaile), Forrest West (Candice) and Griffin West; his great grandchild Archer Masingale; his siblings, Jo Ann Perian (Chester), Carolyn Goodin (Tony), Kay Williams (Mike) and Roger Masingale (Janice); and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
