She was predeceased by: her father David Carter. She is survived by: her mother Fay Buchanan; her daughter Jocelyn Whitney; her siblings, Brett Carter and Denise Kile; and her grandchild Madison Whitney of Decatur. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
