He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cleveland and Mary Ethel Ashe Harris; and his siblings, Sarah Lou Hawkins, Jack Edward Harris, Joe Henry Harris and Glenn Wade Harris.

He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Hawkins of Cleveland, Tenn, Anna Mae Lundsford of Andrews, N. C, Patricia (David Phillips) and Margie Elizabeth (Frank Couey).
