He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Bacon and Mildred Cannon Bacon; his wife Barbara Moses Bacon of Athens; his sons, James Bacon of Etowah and Bobby Bacon (Dedra) of Etowah; his grandsons, Matthew Bacon and Benjamin Bacon; his siblings, Elizabeth Bacon Williams (Bill) of Niota, Linda Bacon of Athens and Jerry Bacon (Terry) of Athens; and his mother-in-law Opal Bright of Athens. He was also cherished by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
