Chris Cook Obituary

Chris Lynn Cook age 52 of Athens, Tennessee died on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

He was born on July 5, 1970 and was a lifetime resident of the area. Chris was a graduate of Rhea County High School. He was a truck driver for Coca Cola most of his working career. Chris loved to play both baseball and softball. He also loved to fish.

Survivors include his wife Buffie Cook of Athens, Tennessee; his mother Pat (Nolan) Brown of Spring City, Tennessee; his children Tanner (Chandler) Cook and Carmen Cook both of Dayton, Tennessee, and Kannan Cook of Niota, Tennessee; his step children Kyle (Kelsie) Hendrix of Spring City, Tennessee, and Brandon and Kasey Young both of Dayton, Tennessee; and his nine grandchildren.

There will be no services or visitation at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to the Spring City Fire Department, 229 Front Street, Spring City, Tennessee 37381in his memory.
