He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ward and Ida Belle Ward (Alma Jean Ward); and his sons, Roger, Charlie and Mike Ward.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda King, Angie Burton (Tom) and Cheston Ward; and his sister Laura Mae Morgan. He is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his beloved furry companion.
