He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Armstrong and Kay Armstrong of Athens; his daughter Madeline Virginia Sue Armstrong (Mady); his stepdaughter Mya Fine of Knoxville; his son Seth; his daughter-in-law Hannah Kirkland of Vonore, TN; his sisters, Suzy Fowler (Douglas) of Aiken, SC and Camille Hampton of Atlanta, GA; and his nieces, Heidi and Hanalei Hampton.
