He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Daniel and Nancy Southerland Boruff; his wife Fannie Rhea Boruff; and his siblings, Elvin Boruff, Robert Boruff, Claude Boruff, Rufus David Boruff (Junior), Lucille Henry, Bertha Emerson and Leona Richesin.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy (Coy Sharp), Sheila (Matthew Cook), Dennis Boruff of Athens and Gary (Christine Boruff); his grandchildren, Angela Duggan, Michael Sharp, Russell Sharp, David Boruff, Lauren Stansberry and Elizabeth Boruff; his great grandchildren, Matthew Duggan, Andrew Duggan, Hannah Duggan, Addison Sharp, Morgan Sharp and Grace Sharp; and his great great grandchild Emri Duggan.
