It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Callie Derrick of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Callie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her mother Maggie L. Ferguson of Athens; her daughter Karen D. Derrick of Athens; and her sister Vaughnette Ferguson Parker of Port Orange, FL.. She is survived by: her husband Allen L. Derrick of Athens; her son Brian; her daughter-in-law Katie Derrick of Mount Juliet; and her grandchildren, Cooper, Lily, Taryn and Trenten Derrick.
