He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dewey and Grace Hutsell Sliger; his stepmother Grace Hayes Sliger; and his siblings, George Curtis Sliger of Knoxville, TN, James Carl Sliger (Jimmy) of Athens, TN and Martha Sliger Denton of Franklin, TN..
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Erexson of Virginia; his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Linda Sliger of Aiken, SC; his grandchildren, Kim Nagy of Charleston, SC, Kelly Spilbor (Noel) of Summerville, SC and Ryan Beanand (Becky) of Camden, SC; and his great grandchildren, Wallace, Eric Mays, Bradley and Macy Bean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
