She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Vaughn and Alice McCracken Vaughn; her husband Arlie Swafford; and her sisters, Willadean Vaughn Crisp and Ruby Crittenden.
She is survived by: her brothers, Leuty Vaughn (Pearline) of Athens, Lowell Vaughn (Betty) of Decatur, Jimmy Vaughn (Marilyn) of Cleveland and Curtis Vaughn (Norma) of Athens. She is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
