Billy Ray Goins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023, at the age of 72, Billy Ray Goins of Athens, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bo and Annabell Louise Griffith Goins; his son Daniel Goins; his brother-in-law Ralph Lankford; his siblings, Louise Myers, Shirley Thell and Donnie Goins; and the mother of his child Nancy Carroll.
He is survived by: his son Joey Carroll (J. T.); his grandchildren, Kylie Carroll and Tyles Carroll; his sisters, Wanda Lankford, Bobbie Sue Aikens (Robert), Jenna Mae Ellison (John) and Frances Everhart; and his close friend Richard Thell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made toward funeral expenses to Ziegler Funeral Home.
