She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester "Bud" Borgus and Ruth Foreman Borgus; her parents-in-law, William "Bill" and Katherine Shelton Whitaker; and her nieces, Michelle Dodson and Dawn Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband William "Chip" Whitaker; her daughters, Dana Whitaker, Adrienne Swinson (Todd) and Melisa Fuhrmeister (David); her grandchildren, Christopher Miller (Jaime), Elizabeth Johnson (Ryan), Tyler Fuhrmeister and Gillian Fuhrmeister; her great grandchildren, Connor Johnson, Nolan Johnson, Myles Johnson and Kaiya Miller; her siblings, Barbara Prince (Bobby) and Rick Borgus (Terri); her siblings-in-law, Mary Anne and Dick Kubala; her nephews, Gary Dodson (Leslie), Steve Kubala (Deedie), Kenny Kubala (Kelli) and Eric Borgus; and her niece Sherri Watson. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
