It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Queen of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Farley Moses and Georgia Bowers Moses; her husband Reverend Calvin Carl Queen; her son Tracy Calvin Queen; her siblings, Ruth Moses, Mozelle Moses, Jerry Moses, Glen Moses and J. L. Moses; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn McKinney and Carrie Moore-Hashe; and her parents-in-law, Bob and Helen Queen.

She is survived by : her daughters, Teresa Queen Boyd (Charles "Bub") and Kimberly Queen Lanterman (Michael); her grandchildren, Chase Boyd (Tabatha), Amber Boyd Rouse (Matt), Victoria Lanterman, Hannah Lanterman and Chelsie Million; her brothers, Roy Moses and Bud Moses; her daughter-in-law Janie Queen; and her siblings-in-law, Jo Ann Bennett, Judy Herd (Duck) and Scott McKinney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
