She was predeceased by: her son Donald Thomas Brown; and her daughter-in-law Susan Suarez Brown. She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, David Brown, Jan Burleson of Athens, Dennis Brown, Mary Brown of Athens, Duane Brown, Jerri Brown of Wendell, NC, Dale Brown, Ashley Brown, Doug Brown and Leigh Brown of Huntsville, AL; her brother Homer Crawford of McMinn County; her children, Brandy Brown, Chris Shepherd, Sarah Beth, Jeb Brown of Athens, Harrison Brown of Mobile, AL, Callan Brown of Tampa, FL, Tosh Brown of Birmingham, AL, Clay Brown of Wendell, NC and Alex Brown of Huntsville, AL.; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Aubrey, Ava Peake and Sloane Shepherd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
