He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Eaton and Ellie Fain Eaton; and his siblings, Ruby Farmer, Ida Mae Rinehart, Emerson, Arnold and LeRoy Eaton.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Slack Eaton; his daughter Connie; his son-in-law Kenny Brackett; his sons, Bobby (Gina Eaton) and Danny (Ava Eaton); and his sister Edna Wilburn. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
