He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Boyd, Sr. and Rosabel White Boyd; and his siblings, John H. Boyd, Jr. and Phyllis Majorie Boyd Bohannon. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Dooley Boyd of Athens; his children, Dr. Allen D. Boyd, Jr. (Claire) of Sedona, AZ and Laura Lucille Boyd (Marion Brinkley Morse) of Houston, TX; and his grandsons, Nicholas James Boyd, Evan Reece Boyd of Sedona, AZ and Brinkley Allen Morse of Houston, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
