He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jones and Leona Swafford (Puckett); and his siblings, Tony Swafford, Jimmy Swafford, Jeffery Swafford and Brenda Anderson.
He is survived by: his former wife Cindy Jones; his children, James Dennis (Carrissa), Angie Hardison (Phillip) and Kitty Jones (Matt); his grandchildren, Lauren Dennis, Tyler Dennis, Elle Dennis, Jackson Dennis, Ashlin Dennis, Destiny Hovatter, Kerstin Slaven, Kayla McDaniels, Ashley Morfin, Emily Hardison, Alex Hardison, Michael Aulds and Elizabeth Aulds; and his sisters, Darlene Stokes and Vickie Turner (Ronnie).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
