He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Mitchell and Juanita Jean Mitchell (Barnes); and his brother Nelson Ray Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Detta June Mitchell (Morris); his children, Jonathan Ray Mitchell (Mandy), Angela Keeler (Chip) and Shannon Patrick Mitchell (Teresa); and his siblings, Vernual Mitchell (Jackie), Ernest Mitchell (Kathy) and Norma Jean Howell (Teddy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
