He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Shade; his daughter Michelle Garner; and his brother David Shade. He is survived by: his mother Mamie Walker King Shade; his grandchildren, Tania McFarlan of Dickson, TN, Alyssa McFarlan of Pleasant View, TN, Makayla Shade of Ashland City, TN and Jesse Paulson of Clarksville, TN; his great grandchild Daniel Mann of Dickson, TN; and his siblings, June Swope, Margaret Bechdel (Frank), Sandy Lannan (Jim) of Pennsylvania and Bill Shade of Florida.
