Though Shanika LaShell may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shanika LaShell touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Raymond Anderson Jr. and Cynthia Ann Woelk Tarpley; her boyfriend Dustin Calhoun; her siblings, Shauna Walsh (Adam Donegan) and Raymond "Tray" Anderson, III; and her nieces and nephews, Kendall Ingle, Jaydn Walsh, Maddy Donegan and Rileigh Donegan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
